Options Initiative, Inc, a multi-pronged non-profit organization dedicated to expand the limited view and exposure to various career choices for future black professionals and create more opportunities in industries where they are underrepresented. We are a nonprofit initiative launched to mobilize organizational, educational and physical fitness resources to help Black youth compete, succeed, and lead in their careers.
Current Programs
JR. Huskies Feeder Basketball Camp
JR Huskies Basketball is the official feeder program for Oak Park River Forest High School boys and girls basketball. We will serve youth athletes ages 3rd-8th grade based in Oak Park and River Forest and the surrounding areas.
Our program will educate, train, and prepare all of our participants to transition and prepare for high school interscholastic sports through an extensive and progressive athletic curriculum.
This curriculum will include skill development opportunities, team practices analyzing schemes that are used at the high school level, youth camps for community engagement with current OPRF High School players and coaches.
